COVID-19 Ski Season Update
As you may have read in the press, Perisher will be opening the 2020 season on the 24th June (https://www.perisher.com.au/perisher-news/media-room/latest-press-releases/1467-perisher-falls-creek-hotham-to-open-24-june-2020).
In order for us to open the lodge as safely as possible, the directors have drawn-up a safety plan for the occupation of the lodge during the current COVID based restrictions. This plan provides guidance on the use of the facilities and the limits regarding concentration of people in different spaces of the lodge. It will require some additional work by the club captain and planning for those attending, to go about their day and may be inconvenient at times; but it does allow for us to have a ski season and enjoy the sport. We hope you will all act in the spirit of community and adhere to the guidelines, that are based on the current government advice. Please see safety plan below:
As the lodge is self-managed, we would also request that each booking member complete the waiver form below:
Cancellation policy under COVID
- The club will waive the booking cancellation fees related to any booking as a result of any COVID-19 related events. Of course, we’d like to know as soon as possible if you are not going, to give another member the opportunity to ski.
- If a member chooses to cancel for any other reason, the usual cancellation policy will apply. The policy can be found at: https://www.alexandraskiclub.com.au/members/booking-policy/
